Eleanor Faye Grammer

She was born Dec. 20, 1940, in Hutchinson, the daughter of Abraham and Elsie (Rankie) Charbonneau. She grew up in Baldwin and graduated from Baldwin High School. She had lived in Lawrence since 1961.

She was a homemaker and a doll collector.

She married Darrell Grammer on June 7, 1961, in Baldwin. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include three sons, Keith Grammer and Dennis Grammer, both of Lawrence, and Richard Grammer, San Diego; a daughter, Karen Strickland, Lawrence; two sisters, Kathryn Hershel, of Illinois, and Linda Twigg, of California; a stepbrother, Wilbur Charbonneau, of Missouri; three stepsisters, Lorrine Smith, of Missouri, Alice Randel, Baldwin, and Laretta, Eudora; a half-brother, Leroy Charbonneau, Lawrence; a half-sister, Pam Williams, of Missouri; and four grandchildren.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, where the family will greet friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The family suggests memorials to American Cancer Society, sent in care of the funeral home.
