Rundle

Ken and Ella Rundle, Medicine Lodge, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open reception hosted by their children and grandchildren, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. June 21 at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 808 N. Cedar, Medicine Lodge.

Ken and Ella were married on June 21, 1959, in Arkansas City. Ken taught for two years in the Towanda school district and for five years in the Nortonville school district. He was the superintendent of schools for the McLouth school district for 17 years and was a principal in CUSD 101 for the St. Paul Schools in St. Paul for 20 years. Ella worked for Hallmark Cards Inc., in Lawrence, for 13 1/2 years. She was also a secretary for the superintendent’s office in Erie for 5 1/2 years, and later for the Galesburg schools for 17 years, both in CUSD 101. The couple retired to Medicine Lodge in 2004 and enjoy spending time with their grandchildren.

Their children are Margie Eck and husband Daryl, Sharon; and the late Fred.
