On Do you think Elijah Johnson has broken out of his slump?

The question cannot be answered based on one game. Time will tell. The Hawks sure as heck need him to play well in the big dance. One thing's for sure: Elijah is probably the most perplexing KU player since Ricky Calloway.

If dropping 39 on a team as good as Iowa State isn't "breaking out of a slump" then I'd hate to be on the opposing team when he really starts shooting good.

Well, yeah, he scored 39 points.

Of course, I guess one could argue it was one of those nights as he seemed to making the shots with eyes closed, open, back to rim, or any thing he threw up.

Lucky for KU cause ISU was coming after them....

Scoring 39 is definitely breaking out of the slump. Before one may have thought he played too tenitively and passed the ball as if he only had nine fingers and ran like he was dragging a big log chain around. I hope the other players don't wear the N-95's because some of them could stand to catch what he has.

He obviously broke out. The question is: Will he stay out of the slump?

It looks like he may be up to it.
