The ineffective state legislators and Brownback will be the demise of this state.

I liked your previous image of Mitt Romney. Why did you change the image?
Ironic that you would change your image from a vulture capitalist to an icon of the American working class. Ironic, indeed.

He's just a flipper like Mitter.

Annoying. Tolerable to a point. Please stay in Arizona with that mean Sheriff "Arpio?(sp).
Please? I have never finished the Bible - Both books in full- long ass book. Unless you have maybe it is a bit better if you don't knock it. Just a suggestion....
beatrice 4 months ago
Well, I have read it, and more than once. I recommend your doing the same if you are going to defend it. Besides, it isn't a knock on the book, but on those who use it to support their political agendas.
A question -- if you ever move from Kansas, does that mean you will lose all contact with the state? Interesting. I wouldn't, especially when maintaining business ties there. Of course, each person is different.

Who knows? It could even carry over to gun control and legalized weed when the Federal Government steps in. Great...
As far as the biggest issue facing Kansas. Like Kansas, a state like Oklahomo, Nebraska, S&N Dakota, & Iowa. How can these states make any $$ without Pro Football or Basketball organizations. Us hicks need $$ in these fly over states.
Will trade Deer for tickets and am not a cop.

Drought
Water 4 months ago
The environment is the most pressing issue. Kansas is beige and grey from drought. We need water soon. The media presents many stories of wind powered electricity generators, coal fired power plants, fracking, fuel prices and mpg. I'm surprised water conservation practices haven't taken center stage.

We need a bunch of water, and no Brownbucks... Too bad we can't make rain out of turds.

Introducing the social leeches back into the workforce. The reason why so many hate Governor Brownback as many of them will have to go back to work.

I'm going to work right now at a job I've had for fifteen years so thanks for the false arguement genius and I want him gone. Maybe he can go back to Parker, Kansas and learn math and true compassion and do away with the fascist leanings.

I want the BIA defunded...how it that. There has been 8 or so generations since what we call Native Americans think they were wronged. None of us walking on this planet right now have done anything to each other than maybe a bar fight. This nation was founded on being one soverign nation. It is interesting how when it is convienent Native Americans are all of a sudden members of the Indian Nation, but when it comes to hand outs, they are Americans.
Those wonderful treaties should be resended. Casinos should be available to anyone or everyone to purchase, and it is time that our Native Americans mainstream into society and become productive members. It sucks that places like the American Legion and VFW's, those who fought for this country, can not do gambling, but next door is an Indian casino.
There is nothing fascist or racist about me. I have to get out of bed every day and go to work and think those that can should do the same. Free Government money is not free, it comes out of the taxpayer and in many cases given to those who did not earn it.

Can't Have It Both Ways needs to remember that WE are illegal immigrants as far as they are concerned and They probably have more reason to speak up than ANY other single group considering how they were treated. They are indigenous to North America. Makes them more American than you or I unless you are full Blooded American Indian, which I doubt due to your comments about them on your previous post. Not supporting the supposed Monopoly on casinos in this part of the country. "Reparations" is a term that comes to mind. I am not against them being given a chance to generate an income as a Nation. Just sad it is casinos that are their best chance at that outcome.

Poor quality jobs and lack of jobs for middle class. Fix employment quality / pay, then the economy will recover. Liberals trying to steal freedoms by violating 2nd amendment Rights in the Constitution.
Liberal overspending. Need to impeach President Obama and VP Biden.

How does a simple OTS question constitute unfair and unbalanced liberal biased reporting? Brownback himself aside (to the extent one can ignore his role in the following topics); regardless of which side you advocate, aren't you concerned about the economy and education?

The # 1 issue that will face Kansans is the realization that they have voted in a bunch of ALEC cultists who are going to implement their version of the ideal state and it is going to be a train wreck.
What is going to be sorely missed is talent, competence and political leadership that Americans mistakenly have taken for granted as we have entered a dark time in American politics.
Some lessons are destined to be learned the hard way.

Democrats must find a good candidate to defeat Brownback next year!
verity 4 months ago
We need to find a candidate NOW and start campaigning NOW. Otherwise the Brownback, with the backing of the Kochs, will get another four years to destruct our beautiful state.
Email the Kansas Democratic Party and tell them to get started NOW!
