First, let me repeat what the musician didn't say, "It depends on who you are if housing is affordable. I’m not sure how much affordable housing there is in Lawrence.”
What was the question?

Yes. If you make $1,000,000.00 a year.

I recently bought a house in town for $100,000. It was a foreclosure but still in great shape. While I was looking I saw a lot of nice houses in this price range. I'm not sure what most people consider affordable... I guess if you're unemployed then you'd answer no... I'm very fortunate.

Affordable is a relative term.
Currently, the median income for the area is $71,500 for a family of four.
Median sales price for houses in Lawrence is $130,903.
Based on those numbers, yes Lawrence has affordable housing.
Lower income housing? No.

Nope. Not with what the average job pays in this town.
