The future groom is the son of Dave and Celeste Streeter, Brighton, Colo. He is a graduate of Legacy High School. He earned an associate degree in applied science from Johnson and Wales University and a bachelor’s degree in management from the University of Phoenix. He is a territory sales manager for CSK/O’Reilly Auto Parts.
The couple plan a Dec. 5, 2009, wedding, at The Chateaux at Fox Meadows in Broomfield, Colo.

The future groom is the son of Richard and Leslie Bell, Hill City. He is a 2000 graduate of Hill City High School and is employed as a cell technician for Cricket Communications in the Kansas City metropolitan area.
The couple plan a July 2010 wedding in Douglas County.

The future groom is the son of Marcus and Mary Lew McCarty, Leawood. He is a 2002 graduate of Blue Valley North High School and earned a biochemistry degree from Drake University in 2006. He is currently a student at New York Medical College.
The couple plan a Dec. 23, 2009, wedding at The Eldridge Hotel in Lawrence.

The future groom is the son of Kevin and Mary Jo Pyle, Halstead. He is a 2000 graduate of Halstead High School and a 2006 graduate of KU. He is an associate at OKW Architects in Chicago.

The bride is the daughter of Mike and Janet Fortune, Sunset Beach, N.C.
The groom is the son of Ron and Debbie Rowland, Lawrence.
Maid of honor was Amber McAlhaney. Best man was Wes Brundridge. Bridesmaids were Katie Krogmeier, Jessica Ware and Megan Leach. Groomsmen were Scott Elwell, Justin Fyle and Michael Obuchowski.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of the Pilgrim Academy in Galloway, N.J. She earned a bachelor’s degree in professional biology from Charleston Southern University in 2008. She is pursuing a master’s degree in occupational therapy at the Medical University of South Carolina.
The groom is a 2003 graduate of Lawrence High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Charleston Southern University in 2008 and a master’s degree in accounting from the College of Charleston in 2009. He is employed by the public accounting firm Dixon Hughes in Charleston.
The couple reside in Charleston.

Paul and Virginia Penny, Lawrence, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a private ceremony on Friday.
The couple were married on Nov. 20, 1949, at First Christian Church in Lawrence.
Paul earned a fine arts degree from Kansas University and is a noted Lawrence artist. Virginia earned a music degree from KU and teaches piano lessons to students in their home.
They have five children, Alan, Mick, Gary, Chris and Melissa.

The bride is the daughter of Dennis and Kala Patterson, Lawrence.
The groom is the son of Tom and Jessica Rooney, North Little Rock.
A reception was given at the home of the bride’s parents on Oct. 17.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Lawrence High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Kansas University in May 2006.
The groom is a 1998 graduate of Catholic High School for Boys in Little Rock, Ark. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Arkansas in August 2003 and a master’s degree in accounting and information management from the University of Texas-Dallas in December 2004. He is employed at Walsh Washburn LLP.
The couple reside in Overland Park.

The couple plan an Aug. 21, 2010, wedding at Central United Methodist Church in Kansas City, Mo.
