Burglars hit Panda Garden for second time in two weeks

Law enforcement report¢ An undetermined amount of money was stolen from Panda Garden Restaurant between 10 p.m. and 7:53 a.m. Tuesday. A thief allegedly broke into the business through a window, according to employee Lucy White. This is the second time in two weeks that the business has reported a burglary, White said. ¢ Police recovered marijuana, mushrooms and various drug paraphernalia Thursday from the 1500 block of Lindenwood Road. Burglaries and thefts reported¢A 32-year-old Lawrence man reported $1,346 in property stolen from his residence in the 1100 block of N.J. St. Thursday. The items stolen included a Playstation 2 , Dell computer and flat-screen monitor.Injury accidents¢ A vehicle driven by a 27-year-old Kansas City, MO., man struck a vehicle driven by 17-year-old Williamsburg girl around 12:40 p.m. Friday at 23rd and Eisenhower in Ottawa.
