And Jennifer Bertrand has one thing on her mind: winning.According to a press release that arrived in my inbox late last night, Bertrand, who received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Kansas University, is a finalist on HGTV Design Star.Currently an Olathe resident, Bertrand will visit New Orleans to redesign a home for a family that was directly affected by hurricane Katrina.Now, I’ll admit, I’ve never actually seen the show, so maybe somebody could fill me in on the details.But it sounds cool.
