Jayhawks finish tied for 4th at the Windon Memorial Classic

After the final round at the Windon Memorial Classic, the Kansas men’s golf team finished tied for fourth with a score of 3-over-par 855 at the Conways Golf Club in Lake Forest, Illinois.

In his second tournament as a Jayhawk, freshman Luke Kluver tied for fifth place on the individual leaderboard out of 79 golfers and carded 3-under-par 210 for the tournament. Kluver had 13 birdies in the tournament, which tied for second most among the field.

Following behind Kluver was junior Ben Sigel, who shot 2-under-par 211 and finished tied for seventh place.

The Jayhawks will next head to Albuquerque, New Mexico, to compete in the William H. Tucker Invitational on Sept. 27-28.
