KU soccer knocks off Northwestern

The Kansas women’s soccer team only needed one score to knock off Northwestern by a 1-0 margin Friday night at Martin Stadium.

The Jayhawks, who are ranked No. 18 in the country, got a first-half score from Kailey Lane in the 24th minute. Ellie Prybylski was credited with the assist, while KU’s defense played well enough to secure the win.

Kansas is now 6-1 to start the year, while Northwestern falls to 2-4-1.
