A Eudora woman suffered suspected serious injuries in a car accident on Interstate 635 Sunday evening, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol crash report.

Amber L. Zishka, 36, of Eudora, was northbound on I-635 about half a mile south of I-70 in a Ford 500 around 6:09 p.m. Sunday when her vehicle struck a trailer that was abandoned in the lane, the report says.

A Ford Escape driven by 76-year-old Anthony L. Dodd, of Kansas City, Kan., then struck Zishka’s vehicle, according to the report.

Dodd and Zishka’s passenger, 74-year-old Glen L. Looney, of Olathe, suffered suspected minor injuries, the report says. Both were wearing seat belts, but Zishka was not, according to the report; she was taken to the University of Kansas hospital.
