LMH Health’s Skilled Nursing Unit has been named as a Best Nursing Home for Short-Term Rehabilitation for 2022-23 by U.S. News & World Report.

The Skilled Nursing Unit, a 17-bed facility on the fourth floor of LMH, was part of the 16% of U.S. skilled-nursing facilities to earn the “Best Nursing Home” designation this year, according to a news release Tuesday from the hospital.

“We are excited to be recognized for the quality and compassionate care that the staff at LMH Health provides to our patients and community,” said Traci Hoopingarner, senior vice president of clinical care and chief nursing officer at LMH Health. “Our teams strive to be patient first and this ranking reflects their dedication to that care.”

U.S. News rated more than 15,000 nursing homes on care, safety, infection rates, staffing and health inspections.
