Basketball roundup: Ballock lifts Eudora with buzzer-beater
Down by a point with five seconds remaining, Eudora senior Mitchell Ballock went the length of the court for a game-winning basket-and-the-foul, giving his boys basketball team a 63-61 victory over Metro Academy on Friday in the Tonganoxie Invitational.
The Cardinals advanced to the championship game at 6:30 tonight.

Despite 16 points and eight rebounds from sophomore Tucker Flory, Veritas Christian’s boys basketball team fell to Osawatomie, 58-52, in the seventh-place game at the Spring Hill Tournament on Friday.
The Eagles (3-8) will travel to Baldwin at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
