Lawrence:

• City of Lawrence utility crews will be installing a new water main on Edgelea Road from E. 19th Street to Harper Street. There will be no parking, and Edgelea Road will be closed Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The expected completion date for the project is Jan. 30.

• The city is installing a water line on the northeast corner of 10th and Kentucky streets. The intersection is open now, but portions of the streets may close intermittently until February.

• A project is underway to construct a new diamond interchange at Kansas Highway 10 and Bob Billings Parkway/15th Street. Work will take place during daylight hours, Monday through Friday. At this time, there are minimal motorist impacts, but the work has caused a need to detour the South Lawrence Trafficway trail between Sixth Street and Bob Billings Parkway.
