City Commission to defer KTen Crossing, Jazz arch discussions from Tuesday meeting

The Lawrence City Commission will defer two items on this week’s agenda because of a commissioner’s family emergency, the city announced Tuesday morning.

The items originally set to be discussed Tuesday night — zoning for the KTen Crossing retail project and the installation of a metal arch outside Jazz restaurant, 1012 Massachusetts St. — will be rescheduled for a yet-to-be-determined meeting.

The city commission will meet at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall. A revised agenda can be viewed on the city’s website.
