Kansas City, Mo. ? Local mixed martial arts fighter Zak Bucia lost by unanimous decision in his bout against Rudy “Bad News” Bears on Saturday in the main event of Shamrock FC at the Ameristar Casino.

Bucia entered the fight with a better career winning percentage than Bears, but a hometown crowd helped fuel one of Kansas City’s top fighters.

Bucia fell to 12-6 in his career after the loss, while Bears improved to 15-13.
