KU golf tied for last in Florida
TALLAHASSEE, FLA. ? Kansas University’s women’s golf team fell into a tie for last place after the second round of the Florida State Match-Up Tournament on Saturday.
The Jayhawks, who have a two-day team total of 620 (+44), are tied for 10th place with Florida Gulf Coast and are one stroke off of Kansas State. Kansas and Match-Up partner Furman also sit in last place entering today’s final round.
Senior Meghan Potee led all KU golfers on Saturday with a 4-over 76. Thanuttra “Fhong” Boonraksasat fell out of the top-5 individual standings to 19th place with a second-round 7-over 79.
