Kansas Athletics needs to play by the rules.

Whether it’s the latest ridiculous situation of failing to register the football team trailer properly or earlier, repeated, instances of improper ways (meaning not in step with the law’s requirements) of how automobiles given to coaches are registered, KU needs to start doing the right thing.

If officials don’t know the law, they should get better advice. Appearing to flout it is unacceptable.
