KU track athletes run at Stanford

? Junior Austin Bussing was one of the Kansas University track and field team’s top performers on Saturday at the Stanford Invitational. Bussing ran one of the NCAA’s top times in the 3,000-meter Steeplechase, placing fifth in a personal best time of 8:56.84.

Fellow junior Zach Zarda recorded a new personal best in the 5,000 meters in 14:08.03, placing fifth.

All-American Rebeka Stowe placed 11th in the 1,500-meters in a time of 4:25.64 to place 11th.

Sophomore Josh Munsch was the Jayhawks’ top finisher in the men’s 1,500 meters, winning his section of the race with a time of 3:49.71.
