Kansas City, Kan. ? Johnson County officials say the shooting death of a 16-year-old apparently is linked to a feud at a skateboarding park.

Two 16-year-old cousins from Prairie Village were charged Tuesday in the death of Ryder S. Spillman. He was found dead Sunday near an elementary school in Kansas City, Kan.

Prairie Village Police Chief Wes Jordan told city council members Monday that teens from Prairie Village and Roeland Park — two Kansas City suburbs — have been feuding.

He says the shooting appeared to be a result of that feud. Jordan told The Kansas City Star that police are not concerned the feud will escalate.
