The Deerfield School Marathon Club is seeking volunteers to help with its weekly runs. Volunteers are stationed along the route to encourage the students as well as ensure their safety while they earn their miles, so the Marathon Club relies on lots of community volunteers to ensure the club can continue. Help is needed each Wednesday afternoon from 1:20-2:40pm on the following dates: Sept. 29; Oct. 6, 13, 20 and 27; and Nov. 3, 10 and 17. For more information, contact Kristie Martinez at deerfieldmc@hotmail.com or 830-8507.
