Kansas soccer team falls to Nebraska

? Kansas University’s soccer team fell to Nebraska, 2-1, on Friday at Nebraska Soccer Field.

Whitney Berry scored on a penalty kick in the 85th minute.

Goalkeeper Kat Liebetrau had five saves and now has 102 for her sophomore season.

She is the sixth goalkeeper in the KU program’s 15 years to top the 100-save mark. She needs five more to move into fifth place on KU’s all-time single-season save list.

Nebraska’s goals came from Jordan Jackson on a corner kick and Colleen Goetzman.

NU improved to 12-5-1 overall, 5-3-1 in the Big 12; KU is 5-12, 1-8.

KU will travel to Colorado on Monday.
