KU Youth Chorus starting new season
Registration and rehearsal begin this week for the KU Youth Chorus, a nonauditioned group for fourth- through eighth-graders directed by Debra Hedden, KU associate professor of music education and music therapy.
A meeting for parents and children will be at 4:40 p.m. Oct. 21, with rehearsal to follow, at Murphy Hall Room 328. The youth chorus will then meet most Thursdays through May, with performances planned for the KU chancellor’s holiday reception and with KU Opera.
