Kansas City, Mo. ? Kansas University junior Jennifer Clark sat in third place, one shot off the lead, after the first round of the Women’s Amateur of Kansas City Golf Championship Saturday. The event will conclude today at Swope Memorial Golf Course.

Clark fired a two-over par 74 in Saturday’s opening round to put herself just one shot back of Mary Kate Bird and Rachel Halloran.
