Noodles & Company, the restaurant that serves noodles, soups and salads inspired from around the world, will open its third restaurant in Kansas at 10:30 a.m. Friday at 8 W. Eighth St.

In celebration of the opening, the new Noodles location will host two fundraisers — a pre-opening fundraiser for Lawrence High School from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, and a post-opening fundraiser for Free State High School from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. At each benefit, 100 percent of sales at the new restaurant will go to these high schools.
