Laura Blanchard has been promoted to principal/partner and Matt Murrell has been promoted to associate in the Hoss & Brown Engineers Inc. Lawrence office.

Blanchard earned a Bachelor of Science degree in architectural engineering and is a licensed engineer and certified lighting designer in multiple states. She has more than 10 years of experience including mechanical/electrical engineering and project management on various types of commercial construction projects across the United States, with an emphasis on sustainable design and architectural lighting design.

Murrell also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in architectural engineering and is a licensed engineer in Kansas. He has more than six years of experience including mechanical/electrical engineering and project management on various types of commercial and industrial construction projects across the region.
