A February dip into frigid Clinton Lake will raise funds for Special Olympics Kansas.

For a minimum donation of $75, participants can take the “Polar Plunge,” and will earn a sweatshirt for their efforts.

Registration for the event begins at 11 a.m. Feb. 27 at the swim beach at Bloomington East Park at Clinton Lake. The plunge is at noon.

The Lawrence event is one of 10 similar events scheduled statewide to raise money for the Special Olympics.
