The Lawrence Raiders have outscored their opponents 30-3 in the two games following Friday’s opening-round loss at the American Legion state baseball tournament in Pittsburg.

The Raiders, who lost the opener to Blue Valley Northwest, bounced back with a 19-2 victory Saturday morning and followed that up with an 11-1 win on Sunday morning over Hays.

The 10-run victory keeps alive the Raiders’ quest for a fifth state title in six seasons.

Next up Lawrence will play the same Blue Valley Northwest squad that knocked them off in Rd. 1. First pitch is set for 9 tonight.

The winner advances to Monday, the loser goes home.
