Kansas University junior Egor Agafonov was named to the CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America men’s track and field/cross country second team Tuesday.

An economics major, Agafonov carries a 3.58 grade-point average and was the 2007 NCAA national champion in the indoor weight throw.
