Olathe ? Alex Boyer qualifed for state in the 100 butterfly, and Zach Henderson made state in the 500 freestyle Tuesday in the Olathe Northwest swimming and diving quadranguler. Boyer placed third in the 100 butterfly in 58.57, and Henderon was third in the 500 freestyle in 5:15.77.

Lawrence High finished fourth in the team standings with 261 points. Shawnee Mission Northwest won with 387.

“The team’s times are dropping,” LHS coach Kent McDonald said, “and we are continuing to improve as we approach the championship part of the season.”
