State to celebrate first Day of Innovation

Kansas technology, bioscience and capital leaders will participate in the first Kansas Day of Innovation on Thursday at the Wichita Marriott.

The daylong event will celebrate the state’s commitment to innovation, highlighting the Great Plains Capital Conference, the KTEC PIPELINE and Kansas Bioscience Organization’s “State of the Bioscience State” event.

The PIPELINE charter class introduction is set for 5:45 p.m., and KansasBio’s “State of the Bioscience State” is set for 7:25 p.m.

Leaders also will meet to discuss “Growing Our Future with Agriculture & Bioscience” as part of Kansas Bioscience Day on Friday at Cottonwood Court at the Kansas State Fair in Hutchinson.
