Electrical fire damages home in North Lawrence
An electrical fire caused an estimated $17,000 damage this morning to a North Lawrence home.
The blaze, which broke out before dawn, was sparked by problems in the electrical utility box near the kitchen, according to Bill Stark, division chief for Lawrence-Douglas County Fire and Medical.
Crews were on the scene at 802 Lincoln St. from about 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. this morning. No injuries were reported.
