Chicago Board of Trade

Grain futures edged mostly higher Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade, while soybean futures declined.

Wheat for September delivery rose 1 cent to $3.64 1/2 a bushel; September corn rose 3/4 cent to $2.19 3/4 a bushel; September oats fell 1 1/2 cent to $1.75 1/4 a bushel; September soybeans fell 4 1/2 cents to $5.47 a bushel.

Beef futures decreased on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, while pork futures finished mixed.

October live cattle fell 1.17 cent to 90.87 cents a pound; September feeder cattle fell .30 cent to $1.1597 a pound; October lean hogs rose .60 cent to 66.32 cents a pound; February pork bellies fell 1.65 cent to 92.15 cents a pound.
