? Services for Margaret Olive Stanley Hamilton, 97, Overland Park, Kan., were Friday at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kansas City, Mo.

Mrs. Hamilton died Wednesday, March 9, 2005, at Delmar Gardens in Overland Park.

She was born May 10, 1907, in Lawrence, the daughter of Arthur Forbes and Eda Stanley. She earned degrees in music and public school music from Emporia State Teachers College and Wichita State University. She moved from Nebraska to Kansas City in 1938.

Mrs. Hamilton was a music teacher in Colorado and Kansas. She also gave private lessons to many students in the Kansas City area. She was a past president of the Kansas City chapter of Mu Phi Epsilon International Professional Music Fraternity and the Moment Musicale. She was a member of Second Presbyterian Church.

She married R. Wylie Hamilton in 1933. He died Jan. 9, 2002.

Survivors include a son, Stanley Hamilton, Lawrence; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
