Loyd E. Kemberling, Lawrence

He died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2005, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

He was born Aug. 18, 1925, in Solomon, the son of Henry and Lottie Stokley Kemberling. He lived in Branson, Mo., before moving to Long Beach, Calif. He moved to Eudora in 1983.

Mr. Kemberling worked as a foreman for Monsanto Corp. in Long Beach for 25 years.

He married Norma L. Welsh on March 15, 1944, in Lawrence. She survives, of the home.

Other survivors include a son, Jerry, Lawrence; two sisters, Rozella Mauldin, Winterhaven, Calif., and Katherine Jones, Long Beach, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to American Cancer Society, sent in care of Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home.
