Soybean futures advanced while grain futures finished mixed Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery rose 4 cents to $3.19 3/4 a bushel; December corn fell 1 1/4 cent to $2.07 1/4 a bushel; December oats rose 1/2 cent to $1.46 3/4 a bushel; November soybeans rose 2 cents to $5.33 1/2 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures increased on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle rose 1.80 cent to 85.90 cents a pound; October feeder cattle rose .97 cent to $1.1217 a pound; October lean hogs rose .30 cent to 74.50 cents a pound; February pork bellies rose 1.77 cent to 96.72 cents a pound.
