Nancy Worthington Merriman

KANSAS CITY, KAN. ? A memorial Mass for Nancy Gale Worthington Merriman, 41, Winchester, will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Kansas City, Kan.

Mrs. Merriman died Wednesday, May 26, 2004, at University of Kansas Hospital, Kansas City, Kan. Cremation is planned.

She was born Feb. 27, 1963, in Kansas City, Kan., the daughter of Paul and Dolores Claire Coyle Worthington. She graduated from Schlagle High School. She lived in Kansas City, Kan., most of her life before moving to Winchester in 1996.

Mrs. Merriman worked as a receptionist for Kansas State School for the Blind in Kansas City, Kan., for many years. She was a member of the Kansas Wyandotte Nation and St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.

She married Dennis Lloyd Merriman on June 27, 1996, in Kansas City, Kan. He survives, of the home.

Other survivors include a son, Nicholas Cory Beerbower, Winchester; her father, Greenup, Ky.; a brother, Paul Worthington Jr., Greenup, Ky.; and a sister, Judith Gaytan, Houston.

The family suggests memorials to the college trust fund for Nicholas C. Beerbower, sent in care of the First State Bank & Trust in Tonganoxie or Barnett Funeral Home, P.O. Box 416, Oskaloosa 66066.
