Jayhawks on All-Star team

Two Kansas University’s softball players and one of the Jayhawks’ coaches are on the roster of the Kansas All-Star team that will meet the U.S. Olympic Team on June 20 in Topeka.

KU shortstop Destiny Frankenstein and second baseman Jessica Moppin will be joined by KU aide Christi Musser, a former Jayhawk outfielder, on the all-star squad led by Kansas head coach Tracy Bunge.

Game time will be 3 p.m. at Hummer Park. All 3,000 tickets for the exhibition have been sold.

The U.S. Olympic team is currently 34-0 on is pre-Athens tour after blanking the Portland Ringor All-Stars, 7-0, Thursday night.
