Samantha Lopez and James Peterson

David and Debbie Lopez, Lawrence, announce the engagement of their daughter Samantha Marie Lopez to James Matthew Peterson, son of Duane and Deb Peterson, Lawrence.

The bride-to-be is a 2002 Lawrence High School graduate. She is a junior majoring in business at Oklahoma Wesleyan University, Bartlesville, Okla.

The future groom is a 2002 LHS graduate. He is a junior studying education at Oklahoma Wesleyan University.

The couple plan a summer 2005 wedding.
