Dustin Wade Kasson

Mr. Kasson died Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2004, at his home.

He was born Aug. 8, 1984, in Lawrence, the son of Stephen W. Kasson and Teresa Klemme.

He graduated in 2003 from Perry-Lecompton High School, where he was a member of the football and golf teams. He was a student at Kansas University at the time of his death.

Mr. Kasson worked part time at Buffalo Bob’s Smokehouse.

Survivors include his mother, Teresa Klemme, Lawrence; his father and stepmother, Stephen W. and Jo Ellen Hicks Kasson, of the home; four sisters, Courtney Kasson and Kelsey Kasson, both of the home, and Raigen Douglas and Sophia Klemme, both of Lawrence; maternal grandparents, Merlyn and Donna Klemme, Lawrence; paternal grandparents, Earle and Karen Kasson, Lawrence; and stepgrandparents, Walt and Jo Hicks, Lawrence.

The family will receive friends after services at the church.

The family suggests memorials to Outdoor Kansas for Kids through Kansas Wildscape, sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
