Accident reports

A 40-year-old Lawrence man was injured when his Ford Explorer overturned about 10 p.m. Wednesday in the westbound lane of Kansas HIghway 10 just west of Eudora. A LifeStar helicopter transported him to KU Med. Law enforcement officers and Lawrence-Douglas County Fire & Medical were still working at the accident site late Wednesday night, and no further details were available.

Law enforcement report

A man with a stocking cap on his head and a cloth over his face robbed a local beauty-supply business on Monday night, according to a police report.

The man walked into Beauty Biz, 520 W. 23rd St., Suite D, about 8 p.m. and demanded money from an employee who was closing the store.

The employee, a 20-year-old Lawrence woman, said the man didn’t display a weapon. She gave him $513 from the cash register. He left after ordering her to the back of the store, she said.

Police have no suspects.

Burglaries and thefts reported

A 32-year-old Lawrence man reported a collection of watches taken from his apartment in the 500 block of Eldridge Street.

The man lost at least 11 watches ranging in value from $50 to $2,300, according to a police report. The incident happened sometime between March 19 and Sunday, he told police.
