Kansas recruiting Langford’s brother

Keith Langford’s brother, Kevin, might join him at Kansas University in two years.

Then again, he might not.

“He’s only a junior in high school,” Keith Langford, KU’s 6-foot-4 sophomore guard, said of Kevin, a 6-foot-8 blue chip junior forward at North Crowley High School in suburban Fort Worth, Texas. “He’s got time to think about that later.”

Kevin Langford is receiving recruiting interest from KU, Kentucky, Wake Forest, Stanford, Illinois, Virginia, TCU, Georgia Tech and many other schools.

“I want him to do his own thing. It’s his decision and should not be made on the fact I’m here,” Keith Langford said.

Keith Langford committed to Mississippi during his junior year in high school but changed his mind and reopened his recruiting his senior season.

“There’s no way guys should commit after making one visit, or in my case no visits at all,” Langford said. “It’s gotten worse even since I came to school. Sophomores are committing after one visit now. I don’t think that should happen.”

Kevin Langford plans to take all five visits made available in accordance with NCAA rules.
