Jason and Amanda Bellew

Amanda Marie Vaughn and Jason Wayne Bellew were married March 1, 2003, at the Locust Point Gun Club in Lyndon, with Dr. Earl Bowers officiating.

The bride’s parents are Wally and Debbie Vaughn, Overbrook. The groom’s parents are Craig and Lori Bellew, Holton. Grandparents are Mary and Chris Mora, Fowler, Colo.

Maid of honor was Jeanette Vaughn. Best man was Earl Wallace. Ushers were Alex Vaughn and Kyle Bellew. Courtney Estes was personal attendant.

Guest book attendant was Vanessa Finlay. Virginia Vaughn and Sandy Vaughn were gift table attendants. Attendants for the cake and food table were Shirley Ksiazek, Nancy Lang and Jessica Bosworth. Brian Bellew and Stefanie Kennison were in charge of music and video. Photographer was Janet Bosworth. Flowers were provided by Linda Kennison. The cake was made by Mary Burgett. Bob and Brenda Smith were disc jockeys.

The bride is a graduate of Osage City High School. She is a student at Allen County Community College, Burlingame.

The groom is a graduate of Holton High School. He is a part of the 129th Transportation Company, an Army Reserve Unit from Osage City where he drives a HET truck. He was called to active duty in January. He left for Kuwait on April 27 to support Operation Iraqi Freedom. At his civilian job, he is a certified welder with Solid Systems Engineering.

The couple reside near Wakarusa.

Tracy Kitson and Doug Reynolds were married Sept. 27, 2003, at Rim Rock Farm in Lawrence with the Rev. Noel Stephens officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Alan and Jane Goodell, Lebo, and David and Jeanie Kitson, Pittsburgh. The groom is the son of Jon and Mary Reynolds, Phoenix.

Maid of honor was Michelle Weaver. Bridesmaids were Rachel Duncan and Ashley Gourley. Best man was Jeremy Swann. Groomsmen were Mike Snodgrass and Scott Berry. Usher was Nathan Kitson. Ring bearer was Ethan Donley. Flower girl was Ana Donley. Soloist was Jill Jenkins.

An outdoor reception was given at Rim Rock Farm.

The bride is a 1994 graduate of Lebo High School. She received a bachelor’s degree in education at Emporia State University in 1999. She is a mutual fund representative for Boston Financial Data Services.

The groom is a 1993 graduate of Greenway High School, Phoenix. He earned a bachelor’s degree in health sciences in 1999 from the University of Arizona. He is assistant track coach for Kansas University.

The couple reside in Lawrence.
