Sandrat Trail Run: The 12th annual Sandrat Trail Run is scheduled for Oct. 6 at Taylor Park. The 9.5-mile run will be mostly on the Kansas River Trails. Also slated is a 0.6 mile Rug Rat Run. KU Club Soccer Wins: Oumar Seck, Nick Ens, Cody Buller and Hans Broers scored two goals apiece as Kansas rocked Pittsburg State, 11-1, in men’s club soccer last Saturday. Also scoring for KU were Andy Nussbaum, Drew Darmon and Sean Murray. Kansas (3-0) will go to Baker on Friday and Northwest Missouri State on Saturday.

FCA Benefit Gala: Carey Casey, national vice president of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, will speak at the Lawrence Area FCA fund-raiser next Monday at the Kansas Union Ballroom. Donley Honor: Julie Jenkins Donley of Lawrence will be inducted into the Adams State University Athletic Hall of Fame on Oct. 4. Donley, whose husband Milan is an assistant track coach at Kansas University, won four national championships while running for the Alamosa, Colo., school in the mid-’80s. She also competed in the 800-meter run at the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona, Spain.
