Seetin

Hugh and Hazel Seetin, Perry, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 25 at Perry United Methodist Church.

Hazel Ogden and Hugh Seetin were married Aug. 24, 1952, at Idana Presbyterian Church in Idana.

Hosts for the reception will be their children and spouses Marcia and Steve Wilson, and Richard and Dee Seetin, Perry; and their four grandchildren, Shannon Wilson, Haley Wilson, Bailey Seetin and Ryan Seetin, Perry.

Hugh retired from Goodyear in October 1995 after 30 years of service. Hazel has worked for the Jefferson County Veterinary Clinic for 22 years.

The couple request no gifts.

Roberts

Richard and Martha Roberts, Lawrence, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner.

Richard and Martha Roberts were married Aug. 30, 1952, in Topeka. Richard retired in 1995 from the Lawrence Paper Company.

Martha retired in 1994 from the city of Lawrence.

They have two children, Richard Roberts Jr., and Diane Roberts, both of Lawrence.
