The city’s bus system will undergo a standard federal review next month, Transit Administrator Karin Rexroad said Tuesday.

The Federal Transit Administration partially funds the T and does a top-to-bottom review every three years of agencies that receive the money. Rexroad said she’ll have to complete a 30-page questionnaire in advance of a late-May visit from federal transit consultants.

“Even though it’s nerve-wracking to have someone make sure we’ve crossed our T’s and dotted our I’s, as a brand-new agency I welcome it,” she said.
