Nicole Lynn Hunter, Lawrence, Kansas and Paul David Jones, San Diego, California, were married August 3, 2013, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Lawrence, Kansas, with Fr. Mick Mulvany officiating. The bride is the daughter of Bryan and Phyllis Hunter of Lawrence, Kansas. The groom is the son of Alissa Jones; Warrenton, Virginia and Joseph Jones; Cincinnati, Ohio. Maid of Honor was Erica Hunter, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Michelle Rubano, sister of the groom; Brittany Angst, Tina Hawkins, Ally Hynick, Melissa Krumm, Erin Olson, Marie Payne, Rachelle Saathoff. Junior Bridesmaid was Ashley Jones, daughter of the groom. Best man was Adam Griffiths. Groomsmen were Tom Bacon, Bryan Cargill, Jacob Coleman, Dustin Kreger, Bruce Lawlor, Sean Roberts, Johnny Rathbun and Anthony Rubano. Ushers were Zach Coleman, Adam Payne, Martin Vertacnik, Noah Winter, and Nick Walters. Scripture readers were Michelle Regan and Lesley Belt. The guest book was attended by Renae Walters. A reception was held at Abe & Jake’s Landing. The bride is the granddaughter of Sam and Segrid Salmon of Tucson, Arizona, and Jean Otney of Lawrence, Kansas. She is a 2004 graduate of Lawrence High School, earned a Bachelor in Elementary Education from Kansas State University in 2010, and currently teaches at Broken Arrow Elementary School in Lawrence. Paul is a 2000 graduate of Valhalla High School and enlisted in the Army in 2000. He has served 3 tours in Iraq and 2 tours in Afghanistan. Paul currently works for the Department of Veterans Affairs in Topeka, Kansas as a Human Resources Specialist. The couple reside in Lawrence.
