John T. and Mary Ann Easley, Lawrence, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a family dinner held on Oct. 12. They were married Oct. 17, 1953 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Kansas City, Mo.
John was a civil engineer professor at the University of Kansas. Mary Ann worked for Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine in Lawrence. The couple have six children, John Patrick and Mary T., Chesterfield, Mo., Dan and Tami Easley, Dave Easley, Tim Easley, Mary Beth and Juan Diaz, and Matt and Carrie Easley, all of Lawrence, Ks.; 11 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. The couple requests no gifts.
