Lisa Rasmussen and Tom Murray, both of Boston, were married July 18, 2009, at Christ Church, Georgetown, in Washington D.C., with the Rev. Stuart A. Kenworthy officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Garret and Gigi Rasmussen, Washington, D.C.
The groom is the son of Tom and Cindy Murray, Lawrence.
Maid of honor was Mina Pell. Best man was Kyle Wenski. Bridesmaids were Julia Brau, Anne Emert, Sarah Fox, Ashley McDowell and Meredith Saylor. Groomsmen were Mark Emert, Jon Ganter, Bryce McMichael, Will Rasmussen and Ryan Phelps. Ushers were Blake Allen, Eli Allen, Jason Fender, Dan Rasmussen and Rob Rasmussen. Flower girls were Lucy Bale, Duchy Bale and Posey Bale. Lectors were Emily Buckley and John Karakoulakis.
A reception was given at The Chevy Chase Club in Washington, D.C.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of The National Cathedral School in Washington, D.C., a 2004 graduate of Princeton University, and earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School in 2009. She is a consultant with Angeles Investment Advisors LLC in Santa Monica, Calif.
The groom is a 2000 graduate of Lawrence High School and is also a 2004 graduate of Princeton. He is studying for a Master of Business Administration degree at the Anderson Business School at UCLA.
The couple reside in Los Angeles.
