Kimberly Dawn Norris, Paola, and Matthew Jones, Lawrence, were married Sept. 18, 2009, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Lawrence, with the Rev. John Schmeidler officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Eveline Minard Keeton, Paola, and the late Clarence Minard.
The groom is the son of Albert and Juanita Jones, Lawrence.
Maid of honor was Faith Hibschle. Best man was Michael Pablo Jones. Bridesmaids were Kassidi Norris, Tammie Bell and Darcey Tolbert. Groomsmen were Jordan Romero, Lionel Romero and Moises Jones. The bride was given away by her son, Caylor Norris. Ushers were Brent Cahwee and Zachary Minard. Flower girl was Jocelyn Cahwee. Ringbearers were D.J. Foster and A.J. Cahwee.
A reception followed at St. John’s.
The bride graduated from Paola High School and attended Johnson County Community College. She is a corrections officer for Douglas County Youth Services.
The groom graduated from Lawrence High School and attended Haskell Indian Nations University. He is a corrections officer for Douglas County Youth Services.
The couple reside in Lawrence.
